Reflection + Works: Week 2

During this week, I had three sessions, one of them being an Adobe Session.

In the first session, we were encouraged to create ideas for a PR Event of a zine that was handed to us. So, first, I and my group analysed the zine and then we brainstormed a bunch of possible ideas for the PR Event which was going to happen at the Barbican. Then, after brainstorming we created a mood board with the images and ideas for this event. Then, as SDS we were asked to create ideas for the PR Event of our own zines, which was very interesting because I could use a lot of my imagination and create whatever I wanted! So I could put workshops, exhibitions and a fashion show altogether in one event. We were also asked and also to create names and tag lines for our zine, which was an easy activity for me since I already had created all of these during my easter break, I just still haven’t decided which one I will use. Then in the next session, we were required to create the PR Posts for our zine, and also to create 6 more at home as an SDS. For me, this activity was very fun because I could play with layouts and fonts. Then on our adobe session we were teached how to create a flippable magazine, which was very interesting and easy. Besides that, we could understand more about film editing and direction which was very fun. Besides all of this, I have been working more on my zine content and I have been able to create a bunch of photoshoots.

This week was very productive and fun, and I can’t wait to learn more about film editing and direction in the next adobe classes.
